Pyramids of Love

I remember Cleopatra's moon,
as triangles of time
unveiled pyramids embalmed in
juniper, incensing golden dreams.

While in desolate dunes
of the sunrise Sahara,
I've engraved your initials
with pearls and diamonds.

For in lunar silence
when cylinders of stars
embellish skies with hieroglyphics,
destined twin flames ascend.

You’ll remain a musical~
maestro, choreographing our pilgrimage
to attain heaven beneath
henna herbs of love.

This is beautifully descriptive. I can imagine the words speak to Cleopatra or some other special person of today. I am not one who believes in heaven or anything after death, but if I did I would hope it would be as you say it is. The destined twin flames ascending reminds me of the lights for the twin towers. There's an eerie similarity. The word combinations are remarkable and I am in awe of the spectacular quality you create. The star patterns are as you indicate what we imagine they are.

Impressive beginning, dear friend Ink, using a wonderful vocabulary: I recall the imagery of Cleopatra's era, with time revealing pyramids infused with juniper, evoking vivid dreams. The stars decorating the skies with hieroglyphics are truly magnificent, stunningly penned as usual.

The ultimate love story. Wouldn't that be a great time in history to pop back to. I wonder how many lovers are buried together for eternity. Actually, the pyramids are on my bucket list.

It's like you've created a love story of the medieval times! I absolutely adore "Cleopatra's moon", "sunrise Sahara,I've engraved your initials with pearls and diamonds" Oh my, immensely gorgeous and artistically mesmerizing "lunar silence","You’ll remain a musical~maestro","henna herbs of love" Love that ending so much, magical.. As well as how you've crafted emotions using metaphors and alliteration so effortlessly, ah, that's amazing.. Your lines are flowing impeccably. Enjoyed reading this, as always, best wishes for the contest, this should do very well. Sending love & light :)
