Puzzle Piece

To me you were magic.

You fit all the right places
Like a puzzle piece finding home.

None of the places fit you.
The piece was forced into the wrong one.

I wanted you to fit
So desperate that I shoved.
Now I realize
You never belonged.

A puzzle piece to the wrong puzzle.
I removed you
In hopes you find the right one.
