Puzzle

Stroke after stroke, peddled on a boat.
as a humble sailor sailed around the ocean.
with the storm of words,
thrown off to shore breaking the heart.
oh! the anguish it inflicts,
the dreams will never be the same.

Piece by piece, brought the shards.
put them together like an unsolved puzzle.
With the string of time,
stitched the broken heart.
oh! the pain it inflicts,
the scars will always remain.

Brick over brick, laid them together.
made a wall strong with cement of tear.
fortified the place with canons and fear,
built a prison around the heart.
oh! the sorrow it inflicts,
the walls will never be seized again.
