Putin, Imagine

Putin, imagine all the great things you might have done
In a lifetime of serving your country, Mother Russia,
You could’ve made your homeland great, second to none
For centuries she has been rich with world renown culture,
Instead, you have chosen to be like an evil Attila the Hun.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! I can't imagine a red-blooded Russky wanting anyone other than a ruthless killer (ala Lenin, ala Stalin) like Vladimir in the Kremlin, trying to revive Russia's lost glory. Then again, I only taught about 6,000 (no exaggeration there) or so Russkys -- almost all of whom backed Putin to the hilt.

Well, you certainly know more about that than I do. It might be a good thing if that many American's, in a select group, would stand up for our president. Incidentally, I hope you are watching the Jan 6th Congressional Committee hearings.

I never understand why people insist on making such bad choices! Especially leaders.

In his case, I'm sure he's not right in the head, Caren. He has probably always been a psychopath and a sadist. He really has no feelings for those people whose lives he is destroying.

Your last line is key to understanding the whole situation as far as I can see Milton, evil does what evil is, regardless of the consequences for his own people, it’s so sad, and oh so true, cheers David

Thanks so much, David. And why anyone would make that kind of choice is beyond me.

If Putin was content defending the separatist Donbas Region from Ukrainian slaughter of innocent civilians, numbering in the thousands over 9 yrs, many would sympathize, instead, he's gone way too far and deserves condemnation, one needs to understand the true conflict over time, negotiate a truce, and legislate peace in all...areas of Ukraine...

It takes someone like Idi Amin to understand Putin . . . . Aloha!

I'd say so, and it doesn't make any sense at all to me.

In Portuguese, the word 'putinho' refers to a boy with homosexual tendencies. Thus, the name of the Russian dictator, putin, is a reason for derogatory jokes here in Brazil.

Imagine indeed Milt. This is a good lesson for all of us to imagine what we can do when we act in the power of God's plan and grace. Nice write! Thank you for sharing this life lesson. Blessings to you.

Yep, he will. Thank you for all you are doing to uphold the Ukrainian people in their time of sorrow.
