Put Down
I know he has her in his arms, always flaunting her charms;
‘I need you he says’, I don’t understand this;
Yet the promises to knot her he speaks.
He comes close, breathes on me
Holds me tight for hours; and she calls
Gets up and walks to the door, “I’ll be back love he states”
Fooling himself is a big mistake!
I read his posts, roaming all around the town;
“I don’t care” he ignores…
I feel hurt for I’m chosen cos I understand
But nevertheless I have my life planned!
Oh boy! Hell with you I say
He knock the door the very next day
There are the options he can choose; Without doubt he will continue
Where I will have no value!
When I think of her, I pray
Truth will make her life grey.
Safe he feels; playing with emotions
Life takes a toll losing loved ones!
I sit and watch him go down
For he chose his way to be put down!
