Pushing Through

Her heart and soul, white hot and clean
walked upright through the grit.
Temptations like glass, break as she steps
Refusing to bow or or submit

Through blood and sweat, and all her fears
passing those who couldn't keep up
And finding in time, her body and mind
Had a strength to never look back
