Pushing the Bar

If you asked me to paint you a picture to show you what I see
the image would be of myself, because in you I see me.
I'd paint you the words of potential, and hopes of future plans
I'd soak the painting in water and see how far it expands
I'd paint you testing your limits, and pushing and raising the bar
I can only tell you from experience that this will take you far.
I can use every color in the palate because I know your personality
It's passionate to no end, I would know your my friend and I see all you can be.
