Pursuit

I'd write a thousand songs for you of wildland forests and skies so blue of misty mountains beneath the sun and you my darling my only one You inspire Love my beating heart I've loved you from introductions start without you life's shallow and pale for you my love I shall not fail My joy in you is measureless it crowns my life it's heart possess I've never known the like of you Your wisdom's great and words all true There is no wealth upon the earth could never it exceed your worth and bound am I to seek your face to give you all that I encase In simple songs all creation sings of life and hope and all her dreams without your love life's not complete two hearts as one when love takes seat You greet me like the morning star which lights all life both near and far You take my hand and lead the way from you my love I'll never stray Like prisms mirror all of light every facet gleams your colors bright your music floats upon the wind and all it's notes on life descends Your seal's inscribed upon my head and it's command our life and bread Your name's written on heart and shines and all your words our life defines And here your Word has found it's home and from their charge we will not roam You've drawn us with the Words of Love Whose source we know comes from above There's not much here that's left to say because you fill our nights and day all creation reflects your face all wealth it's vaults and nature's grace We will embrace all that you've taught to fill our minds and all our thought our heart's desire your law takes seat and in life it's commands complete source the gospels of life the words of Jesus The Son of God COPYRIGHT © 2016 C Michael Miller PoetryofProvidence?
