Pursuit
Dire desire
Controls your empire
No one knows the difference between “want” and “need”
Why all the selfish? Why all this greed?
“Success?”
Is traditionally measured in wealth,
Rather than the condition of a soul’s health
“Happiness?”
Is what comes with power,
The power of infliction and creating death showers
“All I want is for you to be successful,”
You say,
But I never want to be “happy”
Your way.
