Purple Poem

Just for a day, think only in purple.
A purple puppy in a field of purple flowers.
In a warm purple rain, making the purple flowers more purple than a purple sunset
A purple star, a purple Jupiter, or a purple Mars.
A purple moon, purple North Star guiding a skiff to sand.
A land of purple children living in a purple haze of peace.
Purple clouds speckled with dark purple flakes
a holy man...in purple robes ascending a purple staircase
purple birds singing in purple tones. From purple trees
In a purple dream, purple cherubs playing a purple harp
In a perfect purple heaven to a purple God overlooking a purple everything.

Your head rests on a purple satin pillow.
Morning arrives with its purple eye eying a purple stream.
Painting a purple turtle in a purple pond.
A world of purple for as far as the eye can see, and
into a purple beyond, beyond.

"singes the fringes of your dream"--nice phrasing! enjoyed the imagery and then the cold water in the face at the end--whoosh!
