Purple Dress

I noticed her one evening at a dance, and I just knew I had to take a chance Walking up to her I saw her angel face, my heart stood still as if I was out in space She looked up at me with a twinkle in her eye the purple dress she wore was like the evening sky And in a trembling voice I said, please dance with me She smiled and took my hand and I became carefree
