Purple Dreams In Other Realms

Once upon a magical evening an enchanted fairy I happened to see 
dressed in a fantastical dress with two dappled wings of lace, ~Mystic Rose Rose   
 
she shone like the midnight sun; 
I must confess, she looked rather whimsical  
sitting there by a green wooden door, waiting for your lore ! ~Mystic Rose Rose 
 
Opalescent primroses wrap around the transcendental portal.  
Shimmering dragonflies swoop by,  
Inviting you to explore.  
Like glitter, endless stars adorn the sky.  

Magic reverberates off a lustrous golden handle,  
Turning it ever so slightly.  
A blinding white light shines through;  
Childish laughter fills the atmosphere.  

A rush of scintillating tiny fae buzzes by,  
Releasing a trail of silvery diamond dust behind.  
The scent of fresh summer nights invokes nirvana  
In this mystical wonderland,  
Nestled neatly in trunks of hawthorn trees.

I enjoyed the atmosphere where "Magic reverberates off a lustrous golden handle, turning it ever so slightly" beckoning me forward from a realm I know into an unknown place where joy and innocence reigns. Ink Empress April 19, 2025 at 6:20 AM Grumpy, you can write in any genre, you are so versatile, and that can be seen from this poem too, how youv written such a whimsical vibe to your word weaving which flows so well with mystic rose lines is beyond impressive and dreamy too! And has that storytelling vibe to it! I especially love the nirvana line! I used nirvana in my poem for her previous contest but had to change that cus i couldnt find a perfect rhyme for it lol!
