Purgatory

A mists the eerie still night, She stands patiently, Caught between the land of dreams, and reality. Yonder in the distance, sanctuary beckons, but it's an illusion, she just can't reach. Every time she tries, the other direction she ends, always to return, back at the beginning. So silently she stand, with a tear in her eye, yearning to be free, from this her purgatory.
