Purgatory

Life in purgatory has no hope. There is nothing greater love than family. A son that hides through his art, as I hide through mine. Turtles peaking out their heads wanting to fly. Yet confined to their shells. Confined to a world that doesn’t transcend. Through chains, and constraints. A water painting dripping in streaks. No support or understanding. Contemplating why we are here. What dreams may come of this sort of rebellion? Wanting more from life as monotony eats the soul.
