Purest Of

It's the purest light that makes
the colors,
Spread the spectrum thin,
Even day and night become
the brothers,
Opposite the twin...
In the purest breeze the leaves
will hover,
Just above the ground,
While the strongest trees that
seek their cover,
Bend without a sound...
It's the purest tide that heads
each wave,
Before it reaches shore,
Carving out the beach it breaks,
Then bringing back some more...
It's the purest sound as it vibrates,
And resonates a tone,
Knocking buildings down with
every wake,
But leaves the church alone...
If the purest heart would
give their soul,
To free the next sunrise,
Would you sacrifice the breath
you own,
Just to save another's life...
