Pure and Golden
with a heart so pure
and dreams so golden
she step into the world
but betrayal cuts deep
and her dreams quickly faded
as cruelty took the place of love
and work took over for her joy
her sadness she kept hidden
wishing no one to see it's burden
her pure heart no longer shines
and golden dreams lay tarnished
she no longer sends out her wishes
the magic fading from her life
