She was such a Soleil sight surprise, sunburst bubbly ... tulip breath of fresh air After the first “hi,” more of her I was beach boy daydream thirsting for With an Orphan Annie cavalier disdain for the ocean blues, her Punky Brewster attitude was a magnetic, attractive allure — A force of personality gravity that had everybody beach diving in, following with reckless abandon That ruby lip girl was just so ivory cute unleavened cool, I tell you the honest-to-dove truth Cutting thru the crowd of her sand castle entourage was an eye Atlas task, which I was skinny-hearted brave challenge willing to do I had another’s tattoo on my heart laser quick removed That moon-eyed girl took a tidal wave interest in me, much to my Soleil surprise — A beautiful Punky Brewster tattoo got light beam carved into my mahogany heart, deep on the inside
