Punk

We've gotta walk in their shoes Before we judge (that's how the saying goes) With all the judgin' we do, That's a lot of miles of walkin' We've gotta walk in their shoes See that they can feel too Realize that they can love Just listen to them Hear what they're sayin' Figure that it could be true Just listen to us Understand what I'm sayin You could get this wild too Let's hear your thoughts, We will listen It don't matter to anyone else Let's hear your thoughts Get crazy with it Anarchy is the way Of our life Us punks, we feel emotion Both anger and chaos, it's true But us punks, we know what it feels like To love and to cry too You see us as dangerous beasts With a reckless, wild passion You see us with our spiky hair and tattered clothes, But punk ain't just a fashion

Kool poetry Alex, so much great music came out of the Punk Scene. Even fashions from that day still bloom, so the Punk era to me was very successful indeed. Bands like Magazine, Buzzcocks, The Adverts, Revillo's, The Jam, Sex Pistols and so many more still echo in our ears today. Thx 4 the kind comment, much appreciated >> James :)

Well, I happen to like your style, punk. The thing is, I think, sometimes we look at you and remember (and envy) our punkish days but we wonder if you look at us and see this might be you in years to come. Its the difference between empathy and sympathy. And its also the difference between us wishing we were young again like you and you hoping never to grow old like us. Any ways, I like your poem.
