Pumpkin Season
Inhale deeply and let the warmth
Of scent surround you
Brightly shines the sky
Into the crinkly rustling leaves
Hues of various degrees
Drape over the landscape
Wrapping the world
In a peaceful muse
Crisp breezes gently sweep
Through the valleys and fields
Mountains rise up in wonderment
Proud of their stunning design
Fireplaces glow and the pumpkins
Grow fat and pungent
As winter begins her wily approach
For now we will enjoy
The beauty of the painted trees
Lifting our eyes and mugs of cider
Loving these moments
Of Autumns' charm
