Pumpkin Pie

PUMPKIN PIE

aphrodisiacal arousal, her husband lifts from his chair
seasonal cologne wafts out from the kitchen space
most dangerous, placed, in an outside window
a husband keeps vigil next to the warmth of the pie

no one will steal his slice, he holds the knife

Very nicely written, Kim. My first impression was that you were talking about his wife and from your comments below, perhaps I was right. John

Thank you, Andrea. It is also meant to hint that no one could steal his wife :) ;)
