Pulmonary Pain

Sitting in an abandoned house,
holding a letter and a ring
Scarlet words of separation
silently speak of deep hurtful things
Lifting cloudy-eyed me from a cold bed,
looking thru a storm window of dawn dread
I hunger for a lost love
that won’t be returned
Got frozen feelings
heating
in an emotional microwave
Eat my plate of hollow pride,
swallow my cup of empty right
When the daytime is gone,
you won’t be here with me tonight
I’ll be all alone ...
crying for you in the dark,
so all alone

Pulmonary pain,
ebony tears flowing blue
Your parted love
has severed my heart in two

I got such pulmonary pain,
carotid tears spurting blue
Your leaving pierced my heart,
taking my joy for living out the door with you

Tell me, baby,
what am I now to do?
Your love bullet
to the heart went straight thru
And my soul is bleeding more blue
This pulmonary pain
is pumping shock faster ...
every minute I’m without you

Pulmonary pain,
ebony tears flowing blue
Your departed love
has broken my heart in two

A story of heartbreak, well depicted..a passionate discourse of a soon to be lonely soul!
