puddles

In
Your eyes
I could've
Melted away
Into the spring rain,
Until no thoughts came to mind.
I don't want to ponder, I just
Want to hold your hands while I
Become something akin to nothingness.
Flowers fall away into puddles;
Before I could comprehend it,
The ripples pushed us apart.
Deep in our sleep, we dream
Of childish things like
"Fate" and "true love";
Even now
You still
Dream.
