Promise Me the Impossible
promise me the impossible;
all hallowed in their fame.
Where gifts and curse remain the same
to the one who wants to open,
may your word be unbroken.
your tongue be dull,
no weapons in your skull
speaking from thought
for help she sought.
red blossoms on the arm,
with wishes for more harm.
another's cries upon deaf ears,
pain escalating through out the years.
her hand reached out,
riddled with self doubt.
She calls to you,
with out a cue.
from the night sky
she calls you to fly.
to join her call,
and give up the fall
She will catch you,
because she knew,
the irresistible urge,
tears wanting to emerge.
Break your wall,
its okay to bawl.
her own arm is tallied with failures,
While'st her mind joined the stars.
her prayers answered.
no longer a hazard,
she is breathing free.
living life as it is supposed to be.
Arms still riddled with scars,
keeping her head above the bar.
Her mission is clear,
to save from their leer,
She'll hold your pain,
until you can obtain
your balance again
welcome out of the den.
let the sun warm your face,
you have been graced,
with another moment for another choice,
use it differently, use your voice.
take a chance,
smile.
Don't give in
Don't give up.
We are here for you.
