Prom Court

Prom court

All these beautiful, skinny girls
Line for one to be chosen for Prom Queen.

What about the other girls?
The ones with braces that never smile,
Girls that are teased daily for being overweight,
What about the one who didn't attend prom because she's harassed by everyone that sees her?

They sit in the far back,
Staring,
Wishing they could be on the stage with their love
As a crown is placed on her head.

No,
Thats no how the world spins,
Only the prettiest and skinniest get the awards and attention,
There's no room for the "weird" girls.
