We forge ahead little by little
We accelerate the moderninities of life
We call it progress...

    but what are we progressing towards?
      to do what is right?
        to an easier life?
          for those yet unborn?

We invent new ideas for advancement
We make everything we already have better
We call it progress...

    but what are we progressing towards?
      to faster phones and computer chips?
        to robotics replacing our existence?
          for more weapons galore?

We are removing the human out of humanity
We are building our own demise
We call it progress...
Our progression to die...

It does make me wonder where we are heading Brian we already have machines doing the jobs real people used to do... not always a forward step with the new technology:-( hugs jan xx
