Progeny

I remember when children were a blessing For some, they seemed a burden to carry Happy mine are all grown up, I’m confessing, Now I have great-grandkids – it’s scary! I’ll never have great-greats, I’m guessing.

I'd have to be old as Methuselah to get great-greats.

L Milton I'm only commenting because I think that you will live forever... The ending of this poem is too heavy and negative for the likes of someone, though I don't know you, but having read your poetry for awhile, that always projects a positive spirit. Your great great greats will read this poem and say, "Yes he did :)"

Oh, I hardly think so, Jeff. I'd want a much better body if I were to live forever!

Milton so wonderful you have such a somewhat large family. Must be wonderful around Christmas, that is if they are living within distance. Thank you for sharing...

Unfortunately, Michael, my family is spread all over the United States, and we rarely get together for holidays. Occasionally, we have a family reunion and folks come from all over. Haven't had one recently, though.

This is a great blessing, no doubt.

Family all over, Marco, but we rarely get to see each other these days. Everyone is busy with their own lives. It's not easy to get together often.
