Proclamation of Love

Never did I think the day would come when i wouldn't be by your side, when i wouldn't be holding your hand, gazing in your eyes. It never even crossed my mind that you were not that special guy, that we wouldn't get along with each other, that we wouldn't last past our first time. We clicked instantly, you literally swept me off my feet with just one kiss. I stood there motionless as if, there was a lifetime I had missed. Instantly my whole outlook had changed, I began to understand how friendship can lead to love, how independence can be interpreted as two becoming joined as one. I no longer have to be alone, no longer have to state my claim that i'm perfectly fine being on my own. I realized that was all a lie and a front as soon as i looked in your eyes. You showed me truth, you showed me trust, you showed me accomplishment more importantly, you opened your heart to me and showed me love.
