Proceed With Caution

In webs of worry, and in needless hurry
I exhume a wound twice times buried
Deep within my sorrowful Heart
Two Lovers joined, then torn apart
Will we love again, will we love once more?
Or ache again lost Lovers' sores?
Oh, that burning pain I cannot endure-
I would not survive, of this I am sure

Chan The Man Why are you trying to make me heartbroken tonight with your poems. I thought we were friends. LOL The past is the past and sometimes we need to forget them and look toward the future. Nice job Thanks for the sweet comment on Keep Me From You poem.

A lot of these poems are VERY old, Robin, probably dating back from my late teens to early twenties. Sorrow is a pervasive theme in many of my poems; it's just part of the matrix of my Soul, I suppose ;)

Some things are best left in the past. Another excellent piece.
