Prisoner of Love

PRISONER OF LOVE

Though they stay in the same hat
Share the same bed, same cup and same toilet
We can still see a laugh in a sea of sadness
Because one is in Africa and the other is in Europe

She is cute as a bug’s ear
Dressed in white as snow
The hall is clean like a whistle
Watching to it was like watching grass grow
The man swims in the sea of diamonds
Because this is Africa

Before her anger bottled up
Before her tears started flowing down her cheek
Before she ceased to be the light of the man
Before she stopped raining in his inner heart
She was in her own world
Not this Africa we have

Her boss can do it at a warning cost
But she has no right to be heard for
Because this is Africa

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
