Prisoner

She jumped off the cliff, too fall from him. but she still saw him on her way down. she filled the tub, to drown the sight of him, yet his image remains in the bloody waters. she hung from a rope, to end the life in his world but she saw him still on the other side. she got in the car, all windows up, in the blazing sun. suffocating to draw from the sight of him, but even at her point she saw him outside her windows. In the middle of the desert she burns to flames... his voice, she hears his voice through the sands whisper her name, the heat waves waver a form him, ...and he smiles. "always and forever" it sing. she lies in the middle of her cage looking out at the future. wondering if it knows... then the door opens and that dream ends.. "always and forever" he whispered. she looked towards the future and watched it fade away. "always and forever" she says, ......."a prisoner".

This is so emotionally sad and yet it speaks truth to life. those who leave this world, leave us with so many memories, good or bad, whether we want them or not. Good write...Tyesha
