Prisms

this faction of innocence of will
self destructing itself within
with a jagged brittle pill
a snowflake as simple as can be
embeds itself within the darkness
crying out my name

surender my soul unto your heart
but we are so many miles apart
could i never hold our hand
conundrum of prisms in the light
is a jail for my emotions
i cant see myself tonight

ever gentle my feelings are for you
locked up in this dungeon
far away from you
i wonder do you ever feel the same
imprisioned inside your mind
do you ever feel the pain

a snowflake as simple as can be
embeds itself within the darkness
crying out my name
