Princess Lotus

A seed
of lotus
grown
developed
in the pool

fostered by solar warmth
sowing in
uncertainty
to blossom
Princess Lotus

fresh leaves
smile
greet the morn
swing in whistling birds’ tunes
fiber roots
welcome
exquisite
nature

wallow
fondling
natural winds
forget
neglect

reflecting
on
clarity of the pool
present
fellow lotus
to forget
her loneliness

learnt in dew
wet her body
swallow schools
everything just a flash
all the lost
though the roots have not been cracked

befriending the frogs
tirelessly
waiting for rains

her fellow fishes
instantiated
devote themselves to nature

silent princess lotus
carve charming lyrics
for
the beauty
of natural word
