A seed is sown, begins life impromptu,
with nurture from our rich and fertile Earth.
It sprouts with life to make a grand debut;
pursues a plan for fullness, height, and girth.
A sapling soon, unhindered at the start,
limbs stretching up and out with room to spare,
to soon become a complex work of art
enmeshed and blended with the others there.
From seed to sapling, to a full-bloomed tree,
in spite of brush and weeds, it will expand
and push ahead to full maturity;
from seed to tree, progression makes a stand.
The wonder of all life's primeval drive;
create and grow, expand, fulfill, survive.
