Pride of Place

Pride of Place

Sewn by Grandma, you are there
To comfort me in my despair
Or to keep me warm in favorite chair
It makes me feel like you are there.
Faded fabric, a little tear,
Showing signs of loving wear
To let it go, I could not bear
For it is love, sewn with care.
