Your masculine pride
will be the best of you
You realize.
It poisons your heart like a rattlesnake bite
Your heavy words like venom dripping from your tongue
toxic to our fragile friendship
some sentiments will never be forgotten.
Remember your compassion
and it will be your life's anti-venom.
