Pride

I wish I could do whatever I please
No one is happy to stay on their knees
In service to others or bowing in prayer
My pride is disgusted when it must forebear
If everyone allowed these thoughts dominance
We, humanity, wouldn't stand a chance

Indeed, Crystol! Pride does have a funny way of demanding existence. I like your musings on often heartbreaking emotion. Blessings of autumn joy to you!

Yess it can! I don't think we are or will be truly happy if we only serve ourselves. Reaching out in love to others is what gives us joy. Ty for putting in your 2 cents! Xo
