Pride

They've been together for a year And they had the kind of love that would bring u to tears I mean..... They would never part without saying I Love U Or without kissing each other Texting each other through out the day Talking about how much they miss being together in every way So one day The man and his wife had a disagreement And after all is said and done They allowed their pride, and tension to grow so thick They went to bed upset With their backs turned away each other Trying so hard not to utter a word or touch one another Hoping that things would be ok in the morning Saying to himself That's alright she knows that I love her  I'll apologize tomorrow But instead she wakes up to a morning of sorrow Because in his sleep he died Now ask yourself is that worth hiding behind your pride
