Priceless Verses

You are like priceless pennies...
In the pond of lullabies, a fable
I am fond of our bond, so please
It's a bond that is so unbreakable

Time flies as I hear your cries
In the well of your goodbyes
I dwell with you, friend of mine
Everything is fine, so show me a sign

You must really be one-of-a-kind...
To leave me completely behind
Mercy is what I hand you instead
I'm sick of feeling guilt and dread

I'm breaking down
With the same ol' frown
I'm breaking free
From my mere captivity

I'm breaking down
Up in this dystopian town
I'm breaking free
From my angst and anxiety

I'm breaking down
As the night wears its graceful gown
I'm breaking free
From my emotional trauma tremendously

I'm breaking down
As I swim in woeful, wrecked-up waters - I drown
I'm breaking free
From reality fantasy for an eternity...oh so sincerely...

I'm breaking free from my solitude
Tonight, I'll have the attitude of gratitude
Breaking down far too many times
The clock is ticking its many chimes

I cry tonight,
But I'm alright and you're absolutely alright
Hang tight
I shall soar with you with redeeming might
