Priceless Treasures
There was a time when the world was still,
The road was narrow, there were no hills.
The days were long, the sun was bright,
There was comfort under the blanket of the night.
A beautiful sky was a piece of art,
The stars above, were ours to chart.
Fields of wildflowers, we held so dear,
You could hear them grow with an innocent ear.
Dragons and wizards lived near and far,
You could catch a fairy in a jar.
Happy for no reason, each day a new start,
The song of a bird, filled the heart.
Playing in the rain, dance and twirl,
Enjoying one of the millions of wonders in the world.
Priceless treasures were abundant, preserved and free.
Pirate's sails unfurled on a pond, not just a sea.
The fields were alive with blooms of joy,
Happiness abounded, so much to enjoy.
Follow a firefly, capture the past,
The wind softly whispered, beautiful moments last.
