This Blackened heart
Scars cover this flash
Pain and Darkness
Lies and deceit
it’s a life better off dead
the cold hurts so
the darkness calls so loud
So much pain and misery
inch me toward the warmth once more
towards the life I will live just to die Once more
Again and again never ending never changing
Hatred Anger Violence and Distain
The mirror shows the truth we bury so deep
No righting of these wrongs no turning back
Some lines once crossed can never be
I watch the demons laugh as the miles pass
I see the devil grinning as he looks at soul he took so long ago
