Prey

Angry bird
Who guards her own
Your suspicions are right and just
I have come
With wicked tongue
For your eggs inside your nest

Bitter bird
With tired wings
Sing your song for me
Let down your guard
And relentless charge
And let me near your tree

Weary bird
Rest easy now
I don't mean you any harm
believe me now
Your trust endowed
Your guard I will disarm

Shattered bird
When will you learn
Your nest you should defend
It doesn't take long
For it all to be gone
and your eggs are taken again
