Pretty things

Pretty things forever last in our memory, of these happy moments I’ll give you a summary

A glare of love in my woman’s eyes, so bright and clear without disguise

A happy smile on my child’s face, feeling so proud after winning a race

A feel of contentment in my father’s look, when he is sitting quietly reading a book

My mothers care which I see everywhere, an abundance of love just fills the air

Our neighbours kindness is highly respected, their endless support when we least expect it

A sense of true friendship which is ever so rare, people who stood by me in times of despair

Pretty things are not just what you see with the eye, they are blessings from our true God in the sky
