Pretty Poison

You’re a twelve step program
You’re the weak amongst the strong
Avoid the intervention
‘Cause you know you don’t belong

You’re one bad habit
One that’s really hard to break
It’s time to draw the line
For another line to take

You’re a bad hangover
Snort a bushel and a pec
It makes the hair stand up
On the back of your neck

You’re a dirty pin cushion
Need a shot to ease the pain
Can’t feel the pretty poison
Is it taken all in vain

You’re a proud pill popper
You’re a bottle on a shelf
Just fade away in memories
As you slowly kill yourself
