Pretty My Precious
Some guys only
want pretty
for the notice they get
Being displayed like
a prized possesion
They don't understand
that beauty is within
Because they don't
have understanding
That's it's a concept
worth considering
Women don't want to be
judged by their cover
Read their book
And see
what you discover
Novels take time
to read and comprehend
And most times
You want to read
then again
So next time
you take a second look
Look for the manuscript
Not for the cover of a book
