Pretty Me

Staring in the mirror
I see a something I believe
I see cold dark fear
I see a pretty me

There’s a shadow of hope
With lines of darkness
With eyes that can see
A lost soul inside me

I’m covered in dust
From hiding for so long
Shine the fresh light
To where I belong

Looking in the mirror
It’s sometimes hard to see
But far in the distance
I can see a pretty me
