Pretend

When you were young did you play pretend?

Did you talk and tell your secrets to your pretend
Friend?

Did you pretend you were famous just like a film start?

Did you pretend you were a model or drove a racing 
Car? 

Did you pretend you were older with a husband or wife? 

Did you pretend you were not you and had a different 
Life? 

But now you are older and your pretending is at an end

But I don't care how old you are it won't hurt to pretend.
