Makes me think of a news report I saw the other day about the number of alligators found in people's pools or the increase in bears that wander into yards. Who is responsible for the "mayhem" of which you speak? Sad. Your poem makes me think of an old song by Joni Mitchell, "They paved paradise and put up a parking lot".

Anselmo, It appears like we are both sipping from the same fountain since I just loaded a poem that is quite similar to this one on how the global crisis has affected people all around the world. I truly loved reading this poem today.
