Presumed Missing Feared Dead

Andy was a pretty young girl, Flirty, fun, always busy, in a whirl, She was popular at school, Was intelligent, nobody’s fool She never was short of a date, But this would become her fate! There was at college with Andy, A nerdy guy called Randy, Always unpopular heartily disliked, He spent time alone, always hiked, And occasionally, biked. He asked Andy to join him one day, She felt sorry for Randy, decided to say Yes, so off they went on a trip On his bike, She had no idea Randy was A complete psyche, Rode far away from people in sight, He bludgeoned Andy to death With might Used his bicycle pump, threw her down, Off a mountain, into a shallow Lake to drown! Rode back to college, and was in tears, His face had scratches, her friends Worst fears, Were foremost in their mind, Randy was a freak, one of a kind! She fell of the ledge Randy lied, As he continued his story, and cried. A helicopter flew to the scene, The police were at this stage keen To discover the absolute truth, About this nerdy looking, Pimply, youth. Police feared that Andy was dead The Chief of police at a Press conference said, Randy killed Andy, her hair stuck to his Bicycle pump, Pushed her and she had landed Below in a slump. Randy was found guilty, sentenced to die By lethal injection, Which didn’t bring back beautiful Andy, With her fair complexion!

I wish I could say it was unthinkable for me. I grew up in a home with an abusive and alcoholic father. There were times I imagined doing harm to him or worse. Thankfully I was to small and frightened to act on my thoughts.

Serious toned subject from start to finish as though a news item containing all the facts less emotions and \ opinions. I'm curious where your muse got this inspiration for both topic and delivery. Hello Jennifer … life is the only thing we truly ever own. For it to be taken away by some mad person should mean that they forfeit their life as well. Your poem could only be judged as reality. It is a real sad state of events, I don't know about Australia, but we have a lot of crime in South Africa, and I think the Americas comes a close second. Thank-you Richard, there are so many people out there, that take pleasure in killing, wish there was a test that could be done on our brain that tells us all about our characters the minute we are born, perhaps then doctors could help this person and mould him - killing the loved one of a family is despicable unfathomable to me and unthinkable.. We only have to be out of our house by the end of October - thank goodness because the packing up of our 4 bedroomed house is a real task. It is sad, but women in general are the targets of these sick people. Blessings, Jennifer.

We often hear of someone beautiful feelings "sorry" for the perpetrator. It is insanely insane that a human being could do this to one so beautiful, but these are often the ones they "go after." Beautifully penned, and in a rhyme! BRAVO Jennifer.

Women do, it seems that these disturbed people know that they can overpower a woman, unless of course she knows karate or judo - alll women should be trained for self defence, one never knows when and how it might become necessary - and its normally young women living alone tht are targeted. My pleasure Jennifer. My niece's went to Burger High School where a Girl was abducted and killed by a sick Serial Killer sadly. Brought it back. Some people are just wired wrong and mentally disturbed

I have been a little scarce lately as we sold our home wich was left to us by my parents after 45 of parents and then us living in it - imagine what I have to throw out and pack up or sell - a gigantic task!
