Presence
I am sitting on a chair.
a chair with the view of
sky, ocean.
a chair that sits on
an open hallway.
that leads to where I
forfeit money for rent
the ocean,
I wonder what's underneath
---
I see more windows
than palm tree's.
the beer makes the
paper warm,
the breeze as it should,
the ocean still,
as the allusion of
time
races.
I sit back,
swig and gaze
I am paused
