Prescious Day

I wish to touch the next God-made day But if only if only i may, To see the sunrise or clouds cloak the day To hear the birds sing and see kids play, It doesn't have to be bight as long as there's light So that i can see The day shared with me, At night now this is what i pray Before upon my bed i lay, And then hopefully sleep That day in my Heart tonight i keep.

Being thankful for the simple things of life is a reward in itself. You touch so many important aspects.

I enjoyed reading your poetry today Literrius. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. I am going to see if I can write something for a couple contests this weekend. Hope you find the inspiration to do the same. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours. Love, Carol
